Col S. R. Mehta is a retired Army Officer with a distinguished career spanning over 27 years in the Army Air Defence branch. He completed the prestigious Long Gunnery Staff Course (now equated to a Master of Military Science) in 1980 and was later selected to undergo the Surface to Air Guided Missile Course in the USSR, specializing in the OSA-AK Missile System. Col Mehta held command of the first Composite Air Defence Missile Regiment (SP) of the Indian Army, demonstrating exceptional leadership in strategic military operations. Additionally, he served as Principal of the Military Science Department at the Army Air Defence College in Gopalpur, Orissa, where he played a pivotal role in shaping future defence personnel. Following his retirement from the Army, Col Mehta transitioned into the corporate sector, bringing his military expertise to various senior leadership roles. As the CEO of A2Z Facilities Management Services Pvt Ltd from 2006 to 2009, he was instrumental in establishing and leading the company’s operations. He then served as Director of SLV Group from 2009 to 2018 and later as Group CEO of BCL Group from 2018 to 2021, where he oversaw business development, corporate planning, and facilities management across diverse industries, including real estate and mall management. Currently, Col Mehta is the Resident Representative for India at Memios Environmental Technologies (MET), a leading global supplier of Pneumatic Automatic Waste Transportation Systems. His role involves forging strategic partnerships in the real estate market, driving business development initiatives, and managing operations to ensure service excellence. With over 48 years of experience, Col Mehta is a seasoned leader known for his results-driven approach. His expertise extends to profit center management, facilities management, corporate liaison, and strategic planning.
